Germany Mandates & Restrictions

International travel to Germany is permitted.


Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from testing and quarantine requirements. Proof of a negative PCR, LAMP, or TMA, taken within 72 hours of departure, or an antigen test result, taken within 48 hours of departure, must be provided on arrival. Alternatively, those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from testing requirements and may provide proof of a positive antigen or PCR test, taken at least 28 days before departure and not more than 180 days, on arrival. Gatherings are limited to no more than 10 people. unless they are vaccinated. Most restaurants and bars are open. FFP-2 masks are required in most shops and stores. Unvaccinated citizens are under “partial lockdown”
