Visitors arriving in Hawaii from out of state who have been fully vaccinated for two weeks can bypass the requirements. Otherwise, visitors must either show a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within 72 hours of traveling or self-quarantine for 10 days
From the 13th of September, anyone entering bars, restaurants, gyms, movie theatres, museums, arcades, and other non essential businesses must present a negative COVID-19 test within the previous 72 hours or proof of full vaccination. Gov. David Ige instituted a statewide mandate for all individuals 5 years and older, excluding those with certain medical conditions. On May 25, Ige announced that the state’s outdoor mask mandate would lift, effective immediately, but masks are still required indoors.
