Indonesia Mandates & Restrictions

Indonesia is currently closed to tourists, with very few exceptions. Vaccine passport is in place.

Travelers are required to present a printed or digital valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19. Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be presented on departure.

Entering shopping malls in Jakarta and other major cities, including Surabaya and Bandung, also requires proof that an individual has been vaccinated. Face masks are required in public places and public transport. Restaurants may open for delivery services only, with reduced hours. Bars and nightclubs are still closed. Updated August 18, 2021
