Italy Mandates & Restrictions
Italy is partially open to tourists and quarantine is not required.
Requirements
Vaccine passport now required for regional travel beginning September 1st. All travellers who cannot provide either a certificate of vaccination or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 are subject to the requirement for a pre-departure negative COVID-19 test (antigen or PCR), taken within 48 hours prior to arrival. Passengers fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine do not have to quarantine but need to take a viral test within 3 to 5 days of arrival. All travellers coming from US, Canada, Israel and Japan will have to present a PCR test regardless of vaccination status. If unvaccinated you’ll have to quarantine for 5 days.
